Description: Project description:
We are working under tight deadline and would like a vendor to provide us with Section 508 XHTML coding of four pages.

The pages would need to pass through a validator for Section 508: http://webxact.watchfire.com (click on the Accessibility tab).

Schedule: We would like to create the home page first, validate it though the Section 508 validator given above, fix any accessibility errors. Then we will get you feedback on the first page from the client. The home page will be due by Noon (Eastern Standard Time) on Wednesday, December 12 and the second and third page will be due on Thursday by Noon, and the remaining page will be due on Friday, December 14.

The pages are being integrated with ASP.NET controls. The job will be to slice the attached PNG files and to provide implementation using XHTML. We would like one master page with headers and footers and a single CSS file for all pages.

Home page: For form elements, all the field controls should have meaningful labels, for instance for a person’s last name you could use something like txt_lastname. Please create a single master page since the client wants one master page and a single css for all four pages. There is no footer on the home page but needed to be placed. You can take the footer from another page and add it to the Master Page. We need it on every single page, without exceptions.

In the PDF file of the database tables (see page 9 onward) you will see numbers in brackets. These signify the length of each field. For example for last name, it is 25; for company name, it is 100; for State, it is 2. States will be based on a standard down-down for the 50 US states that you can take from any website, but each state would have the label with its full name so that the accessibility readers may read it.

Search Page (search_dropdown.png): Here Last Name, First Name, Agency Name and Location are 25 characters each. You can locate these and other fields on the PDF. Our client wants to be precise with the number of fields that we use.

The Companies section will have an ASP.NET control that will pull information out of the data-dictionary and then display it next to the five check boxes on the right hand side when the user types in any letters. These boxes will remain available on the screen at all times. The bottom of the Company section will expand to accommodate the drop-down menu, which will be a fixed menu. Therefore the Insurance Products and the Search Buttons (and all contents below) that you see will have to be moved below by 24 pixels to allow for the five search results to exist on the screen permanently. Please keep the vertical distance between each section as 24 pixels.

Third Page: The Search Results section will go on a new page that you will create. They are being moved from this page because this page will be just a search page.

Fourth Page: Producer Profile Page (pofile_page2.png)
