Hi,

I need advice on a practical way to mask streaming source data from end users.

I want to prevent some malicious users of finding out the source of our streaming server.
At this moment this can be easily done by looking at the source of the web page. Which would show something like this:


OBJECT id=MediaPlayer width=x height=y
CLASSID=CLSID:xxxx-xxx-xxx-00C04F79FAA6"
type=application/x-oleobject

PARAM NAME=URL VALUE=http://www.myserver.com/asx/name=stream.asx
PARAM NAME=AutoStart VALUE=True
embed
type=application/x-mplayer2
src=http://www.myserver.com/asx/name=stream.asx
width=x height=y
autostart=True
etc.

The general idea now is to either:

-mask the source http://www.myserver.com/asx/name=stream.asx in some way
OR
-use a flash player as a layer on top of the stream.

I have 2 streams so in case of the flash solution it would not be an issue to have 2 different so-called flash players.

The solution should be practical as possible for the average user.

What I am paying for is someone who can suggest and advise me on a solution.
Preferably someone who has already been working with the suggested solution.
The budget for this job is just 10$. If a specific flash solution is needed than of course the price may be raised.
