| Description: |
We have a lead database of nearly 30 Million records. In order to better manage this data we require a lead management tool that allows for easy import and exporting of data.
First, we have a semi working model that can be used as a reference tool, but by no means is functional or tuned. Please refer to: http://miksup.100webspace.net/steve/
We require three basic functions: 1. Easily import data into the MySQL Database. All of our data is an XLS, CSV or a text file. Each file contains the same data, but some files contain more data and data headers than others. We need the tool to open a file, and request how the data /headers are mapped prior to importing the data. Please refer to this link : http://miksup.100webspace.net/steve/richard_getfile.pl This demonstrates how with the help of the drop down box how the import file is obtained. Second the file is selected and then forwarded to this page: http://miksup.100webspace.net/steve/richard_comma.pl All files to be imported will reside in a specific folder or on the desktop. Some files are fomated by MS Excel 2007, so some files contain upwards of one million records
When this page is selected, that data is imported into the table, then using the drop down menus the data is then mapped, and after the mapping process, the data is uploaded by clicking on the Insert Leads in to SQL table button.
Regardless of the data headers, a mapping process is required for each file to be imported.
Function # 2 This page demonstrates the fields/table how the data will be extracted http://miksup.100webspace.net/steve/richard_search.pl
The basic function is to select minimum criteria so that leads can be searched, and the result can be exported. After the search has been completed, the results (leads) can be exported to an excel file. An export to excel SS is required.
If you select the state, and input Ca, you will find how the results are displayed
Searching leads is only possible to internal candidates, and by only the admin.
Function 3.
A static webpage will be available to website visitors (like this page : http://miksup.100webspace.net/steve/richard_search.pl ) with minimum access and restricted values displayed. When a visitor completes their search, a search ID will be displayed so the admin can recreate the search and export the data for transmission of data to the client via an excel SS and thu email.
We have an in house server with MySQL that is to be used for this project.
