Description

I need help with creating an automated backup script or process using rsync and maybe rdiff or the like. Basically the backup script or process just needs to be a daily or hourly cronjob that backs-up a full /home directory on a remote server to a local backup directory. These would need to be incremental backups. I just need someone to maybe write up a script or show me how incremental rsync works. It would be for 2 systems (local & remote) running centos 5.3.

I have just done this for my own site (zlayer.net on Centos 5.3) to my home computer with Fedora. I've created a rsync backup via ssh (so I use public keys, no passwords or anything). The job is in cron. The work should take just a few hours or less, you only need to provide me the ssh access to your machines (and you should have that user have sudo privileges or give me the root pass). Or I can make detailed screenshoted or similar instructions so you can do it without my help. So, this shouldn't take much, I've put the lowest price possible because this is my first project here at getafreelancer so I want to collect some rating. I also think this could be done even for less, so I don't know who is setting the minimum price. Please contact me if you need more info.
