I have experience installing Reddit, I successfully put it on my Fedora9 desktop box. I see your service provider doesn't give you root access, this should be okay as long as the username you give me has access to the "sudo" command. I recommend installing a software repository to be used for backing up the reddit database. I expect the job will take about a day or 2, but I put 5 days so I can have time to test the system and mitigate any security risks which may come to my attention. Hope to hear from you soon.
