Description

This is a quick job for an experienced RoR programmer.

Install a pre-built app using RESTful programming.

Follow a step by step online tutorial to install a test app on a Ruby ready server.

All code is available at GitHub plus the instructions to install.

The screencast video says it's about 4 hours work to build from scratch, and this is already built, so
should be even less than that.

You will need to:

To setup the application, checkout the source and follow the standard rails application setup.

* cd into application
* rake db:migrate
* ruby script/server

The only additional configuration required is to set environment variables for your S3 and drop.account. Look at the Asset.rb file to see where all of these environment variables are used (/app/models/asset.rb)

* export S3_KEY={your Amazon S3 key}
* export S3_SECRET={your Amazon S3 secret}
* export S3_BUCKET={your Amazon S3 bucket}
* export DROPIO_KEY={your drop.io API key}
* export DROPIO_DROP={name of drop to upload file to}

Note: if you are using a premium API key, the drop you upload to must be owned by your drop.io manager account.
