Description

Hi, 5 Months ago I hired someone from here to do some SEO work for a website that I had s static website made in dreamweaver that I promoted and had 85,000 visits a month (90% from Google). This guy that I hired in March insisted in installing a CMS that he sold to me for $350 then he passed everything to the CMS and placed 301 redirections to the new dinamically generated urls. My traffic started dropping to the point there were almost no visits. He said this was natural and it would come back eventually as the search engine would pick up the nwe url's. Is has been two more months and It has only gone up to 18,000 visits a month and most come from Yahoo. I fired the guy of course and I am looking for an expert to guide me into fixing the damage the other guy caused and get back to 85,000 visits or more. I already have Joomla 1.5 installed with content in a subdirectory and is ready to be moved to the root. I want to do things right and that is why I need you. Hi, yes if your views went down that much, obviously something is wrong. SEO is a pretty touchy thing and in order to do it correctly it needs to be done right. I can deffidently do this for you. It sounds like the guy had probably placed a link (from each of those dynamic links)to your main page in an effort to generate inbound links to boost your main page's Google Page Rank as well as the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) Ranking. It is a pretty common technique but there are other techniques that can be applied that will not mess with the current traffic statistics in a negative manner as his method had done.
