Description

Help needed on COMPLETION of project already about 80% done.

The site in question is a paid membership site based around the display of a certain Flash video.

Existing code is based on Django (web framework for Python) and works with MySQL database backend.

You will be working and communicating primarily with project manager who is proficient in Python and Linux, so technical discussion will be expected and appreciated.


The major tasks remaining in this project:

* set up an automated emailing system ("autoresponder") that sends out emails to members based on a predetermined schedule.

* update the administrative interface to control the autoresponder, including the text of the emails and the schedule they are sent on.

* link up the payment forms (already created) with a payment gateway provider we have an account with.

* redo certain forms as needed -- mostly in user profile.

* several other back-end code changes that should not be complicated for someone proficient in django.


Partial code can be provided to bidders who ask for it.

Successful bidder will have the following characteristics:

* excellent communication ability in English -- must be willing to provide status report every 24 hours, react to feedback, be honest and ask questions when directions are unclear.

** Telephone or Skype communication is highly preferred **

* good proficiency with Django (python web framework)

* decent web page design ability. if you can come up with site pages that look like 43things.com, we're happy. Simple usability is more important than flashiness.


CONDITIONS OF COMPLETION

Timeframe:
This project must be finished within 14 days of acceptance of bid.

Deliverables:
Post all code, templates, and graphics to a server account to be named, AND install code on designated production and demo servers. (Linux)
