Description

I need to develop a functional part of a web site. Basically, it must have Multilevel access, database and content management features for Client, Admin and Employee modules. Each module should have a few access levels. I did some research and found that Joomla can be customized for this project. If bidders have better ideas for the base script/platform, please let me know.

I will describe the Customer Module as the most important.

The consulting service company must be able to service unlimited number of customers.

1st access level. Works exactly as “out of the box” membership web site script. Each customer after login should have access to common areas available to all customers. All pages are for information and education purposes only. The access is free. All the contacts must be stored in the database.

2nd access level. Under the same login as the 1st level, each customer should get access to his dedicated page hidden from other clients. It will contain personal greeting, text window for personalized messages and information in form of .pdf and other files uploaded by the assigned employee/admin periodically. The number of periods in a year is set by the admin. Let’s call it a Reporting Block. Files must be downloadable for the client, each file one at the time.

3rd access level. Each Reporting Block is a product and must be paid for before access is granted. No preview option. Once customer clicks on any of the files in the current Reporting Block he must be prompted to a secured payment page. This function should work as an e-book store. Once the payment is processed, the Reporting Block becomes accessible permanently under the 2nd level. Once the year is over, the past year files should be available in the archives on the personal page.

That is the Customer Module in general.

Another one is to facilitate Admin functions, to control access to each page for each customer, add/change content, add/delete users, upload files, communicate with customers and employees etc.

The Employee module should provide employees with tools to upload files and exchange information with Admin. Admin must be able to control the employee access to the customer files, collect hours worked, communicate with employees. Also, there will be training pages available to employees only. Access is granted by the admin only and strictly controlled.
