Description

I m looking for a very simple application. The output will be a very small executable file (called alert.exe) that will be called from the command prompt of windows. The syntax has to be like this:

alert.exe -type -msg -timeout

An example is:

alert.exe balloon "You have a new message" 30

This will display a balloon alert (right above the windows task) with the message "You have a new message" and it will automatically disappear after 30 seconds or when the clicks on it.

The attributes of the alert.exe are:

-type [ballon|msn] (where the ballon is the one described above, whereas the msn is the MSN type of alerts for new email messages)

-message [string] (of any length. I would also like to be able to place href links to the balloon message)

-timeout [integer] (is the number of seconds that the alert will stay visible, before automatically removes itself)


I want if possible to make this run as a standalone application. i.e. no restrictions (for example java must be installed etc). If .NET is the platform for solution it has to be compatible with older editions of the platform too. It has to consume minimum amount of CPU and RAM. Total size must be less than 3MB (important!!)

Payment will be made upon testing of the executable file for all the described functions. No payment will be made for any missing features. Source code and compiled code has to be submitted to proceed with payment.
