Description

I need a file converted to PDF:

I have a Word 2007 file (.docx), 82 pages long. I use embedded fonts (Arno Pro, KNU, Wwin_Burmese1) and some images and tables.

Using the Save As > PDF command in Word, I get a nice result for printing, but it's 14 megabytes in size (too big for emailing) and the text cannot be selected because of the embedded fonts.

I need the document to be converted to a PDF that looks the same as the PDF I have created, but smaller file size and the text must be selectable (otherwise the 'find' function does not work). I would also like the word headings converted to bookmarks, and make sure all URLs work (there are a few that do not work, if they break across a line the PDF has a %20 space character added in the middle).

This should be a relatively easy job for someone experienced with using Adobe Acrobat.

You're right this is an easy one. What I would do is import your word file into adobe indesign software. I would then make sure all the hyperlinks are working correctly and bookmark all the headings. Then I would export to pdf and test that everything works according to your intentions. Everything would remain the same in terms of page size, layout, etc. I believe I do have all these fonts already so this should be quick. I've been designing for over 12 years, and though I am new to getafreelancer, don't let that concern you. I look forward to the opportunity to work on this project with you.
