last week I proofread and edited a paper on the last Iranian election. it was the first time I'd done a paid proofreading since I was an English tutor in college. You know what? It might have been the most rewarding gig I've done through GAF. I don't know whether my experience as a blogger, article writer, academic writer, or otherwise qualify me for the position, but I take it that since you only requested proofreading, this particular project won't be nearly as challenging as the last. Hello, I've just completed a Master's degree in English literature at Warwick university, UK (rated better than Oxford for Shakespeare studies, my speciality!!!), that should give you an idea of my competences in English (I also have a Master's in English language from the Sorbonne university of Paris, as a matter of fact). As for the proofreading bit, you will be able to see my name in the academic periodical Papers on French Seventeenth Century Literature, which I have proofread from beginning to end - which implied correcting mistakes, and making sure the bibliographical references agreed with MLA norms of presentation, quite a lot of very precise work. I will proof-read your book seriously, so I offer to do it in six days, but if it is really urgent I'll hurry up!
