Description

We are Performance Engineering Associates, a consulting firm based in India that offers, amongst other things, an audit/assessment service to assess outsourced IT projects for performance risks in the delivered application/product early in the project lifecycle. We are run by two seasoned professionals who have 15 years experience apiece in this industry and we have worked with lots of large ($1m+) IT projects out there that have used this service.

We are looking to establish contact with IT Director/CIO-level folks in US firms in pretty much any sector - manufacturing, financial services, distribution etc, who either already have a large business-critical, performance-critical app outsourced to India, or are planning to outsource one, and are worried about how they will perform when delivered.

What we need from you: Establish contact with IT Director/CIO-level people who would be interested in engaging us for this service. We are looking at your spending upto about a month on this. Ideally, we should receive an email from each of these people you speak with, indicating they want to explore this service, so that we can take it from there.

You are probably on the sales side or you may be involved in project management or outsourcing management for your clients; if you are in either role this should be easy for you. You do not necessarily need to be present in the US though that is likely to help you and us.

When you bid: please state how many contacts you would like to establish in about month (reflecting in emails we receive), and what you want to be paid for this one-time task. You can work it out based on a per-item fee or a per-hour estimate, but what we need as a bid is the total amount you want to be paid for your effort. (We will pay healthy commissions on referrals that do materialize into real projects too, but what you bid on here is only the fee for your effort, NOT including the commission.)

More details can be provided as we go. Needless to day this small initial opportunity can become much much larger once we find the right candidate.
