I need a search that is put into a form to be submitted.

The search form needs to be a link and or button to be a popup. The popup needs to be big enough to have a text input box and a search button to submit the search with a minimum of 3 letter that must be put into the text input box for the search to execute. What this search is searching for is companies and the results below the text imput and submit button would be just company name, city & state where the company is located. The results can be displayed in a list in alphabetical order by company name. Once you have the results in the popup, you would click on the company you were looking for and the company info would be inported into the main window form fields (about 13 fields).

I would supply you with the mySQL field names.

I would install the scripting into the form and such but if I had questions regarding an issue, that would need to be answered. This is a member based site so it is in a secure part that requires the user to be logged in.

I am looking to build a good relationship with programmers since there will be more work in the future.

The site uses mySQL, cgi & perl. It can be programmed in anything as long as it work with what I already have.
