Description: I need someone to incorporate GeocodeUK (already purchased and licenced from geocodeuk.com) into a focalmedia, Powerseek trade directory website. Searches are already in place but I need a "home" postcode input facility incorporating.
The listings then produced by the searches (each containing a postcode) each need to indicate the mileage from the "home"postcode. The searches are currently displayed alphabetically. I need an additional user option to re-sort the display into "nearest"order or to leave it in alphabetical order. Powerseek is opensource, and most of the page tamplates are easily altered to incorporate additional inputs, variables and calls to cgi scripts. This project is urgent and I need a definite start/finish date please

I have a working code to do *sort by* in perl, here. Thus I do suppose that GeocodeUK offers the desired routines to deal with zipcode/coordinate recognization. Thus, Perl/GIS are my speciality.. ready to do *initial research* after bid confirmation thus delivery will be made in roughly 48 hours.
