Description

Original dedicated server has been hacked/rootkitted. The server hosts 2 websites. 1 of the web apps is written using Perl scripts using the following modules.

CGI.pm-2.98.tar.gz
Date-Calc-5.3.tar.gz
Mail-CheckUser-1.19.tar.gz
Mail-Sendmail-0.79.tar.gz
MIME-Base64-2.20.tar.gz
MIME-Lite-3.01.tar.gz
Net_SSLeay.pm-1.22.tar.gz
Template-Toolkit-2.10.tar.gz

There is really 1 non-complicated Perl script that controls the web app. It is back ended by a mySql database.

Need the web site/web application moved to a shared hosting server (HostGator or 1and1)

If possible, the 1st stage could be to secure the original dedicated server. (Although it is in bad shape patch wise.) There is the threat that the original server may be disconnected due to it now being used as a center to hack other servers via ssl.

However, we would not want to spend too much on the original server since we are really trying to move off of it.
