Description:	I need help with perl/cgi scripts which currently calculate an average rating figure for adverts simply based on the average of all ratings received to date. I need to produce ratings based only on ratings received during the past six months. The main program already stores ratings and reviews for each advert, and I can force a date entry when a rating/review is left. But I need a further piece of programming to store this entered date as the first few bytes of the review (which would therefore require no extra database fields) I then need a daily admin routine incorporating, preferably automatic, to access the review fields appropriately to delete rating/reviews older than six months. The average rating can then calculated based only on the last six months ratings. It would be nice if an admin setting could select the time period required e.g. six months, twelve months etc Additional files submitted: rateit2b.cgi
