Description

We would like to scrape certain manufacturers' websites and export the data to an Excel file for upload to our website.

As an example, we would like to scrape all the accessories on this website: http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc_phone.aspx?i=173502

The data to collect would be the product name, model, image URL, product description and compatible phones. Another example would be http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/accessories?cc=gb&lc=en

There are seven or eight such websites. This project will for two websites initially. If the spider/bot works, then we can move onto the other websites in subsequent projects.

We have Screen Scraper from www.screen-scraper.com so if you have experience with using it, that would be an advantage. certain scripts might have to be used, written in either Java, Javascript, Python, Perl or Visual Basic.
