Description

I have a mysql database with a contacts table with fields username and password (among others). I want to make protected content available using php. In other words, the user should be presented with a screen where they type their username and password. The system checks that against what is in the database and if OK, presents them with another series of HTML pages. They should be able to navigate among any of the linked pages without being kicked out. Some of the pages have video files that will take the better part of an hour to view. Once they close all windows, they must login to get back to the content. In addition, none of the links should work outside the validated session (i.e., if you save the links and send them to someone else, they don’t work). The mysql database also has a userlog table that records logons (username, IP address, date in, time in). I want this populated everytime the content is accessed. This should be a very simple project. This will be placed on a Windows 2003 Server running IIS. MySQL is 5.0.45; php 5.2.4.
