This project is to fix problems that were caused by the implementation of the last project, that can be found here:

The basic gist of the problem is, I hired a programmer through GetAFreelancer to install some contributions into my already heavily modified oscommerce store, and he's been banging his head for over a week on 2 issues:

Issue 1:
The biggest one is caused by a contribution that creates order numbers based on the current date and time:

some orders end up getting 2 different order numbers assigned (maybe because client is on a slow connection) and they end up messing up the tables, which causes some issues in the store. One problem caused by this is lost orders. Another problem cause by this include quantity issues, if someone buys 1 item and there was 2 in-stock, the store will make the remaining item inactive. There might be other problems which you will have to find, I do not know, I am not a programmer.

Issue 2:
the other problem is with a rewards points contribution

although it works well, it causes problems once a client tries to pay for the entire order using points - the modified Paypal IPN I have doesn't like that. I need a customer to be able to pay for 100% of the order with points if they want to, without being forwarded to paypal, and without modifying in any way the paypal IPN contribution - the store must treat an order paid with 100% points the same as if it has been paid in full by Paypal.

This is on a LIVE store. People will be ordering and doing stuff while you're working on the site. Downtime can be arranged, but I need this done asap. Any bids not containing the word "geronimo" will be completely ignored as I will not hire someone that doesn't even take the time to read my problems and instead posts all about how he has references from the last time he painted his brother's car.

Payment will not be made until the problems are fixed and tested (one week of live use with no problems)
