Hello,

for a Drupal website, we need a simple module to track and store clicks in database.

The module should allow define throug an admin tool what links must be tracked and store it in a new table. Must work independently of any other Drupal module and not interfere in any way to avoid maintenance problems as much as possible.

A possible way of working could be. From the admin side:

-define kind of content to be tracked: (optional, got list from Drupal DB)
-define links to be tracked (mandatory)

Then need to store that links in DB and also some tool to filter that table and get results. You could store script settings in database, admin required then, or in a config file.

If you need to use javascript for anything please use jquery, because its already built in our sites.

This is a first approach if you think there is a better way to do it, lets talk about.

This must work with Drupal 5, but I suppose its not a problem to work with version 6.

Scripts must be documented and all needed details to config, setup and work with the module.

We will keep all rights over this work and must not be sold or used in any other project. Probably we will make it available for free for Drupal community but it is our sole decission.

This project should not take more than 2 days, but will extend it and must be completed no more than 5 days. Payment will be done thru GAF or Paypal, no Escrow, no other methods, after check the project installed and running in the website. If you are not confident to complete project in time, lets know before and will talk about extend deadline, but if fail to deliver project in agreed time without reasonable reasons, will be cancelled and other programmer will be selected.
