PHP - Develop database script for Apache and MySQL
Valentine Project
Track inventory of web “space” [individual webpage plus tied into shared webpage]
(Rest of the website will go live as soon as this script is ready)

Prompt completion of this job is crucial due to inflexible deadline. Will only consider experienced PHP programmer who can be trusted to deliver within 3 days of being selected.

Track each order through completed sale
Create a buyer’s account and collect buyer data, date, payment info, referral source, product choice (basic + 4 possible add-ons; track each), etc. (Information A)
Order sent to Paypal for payment processing (no shopping cart required)
After payment, Information B collected (customizing and recipient data)

Pending Orders (After Paid – Info A & B collected)
Order held in queue during manual processing/graphics collected and handled
(Information C added, as services provided or completed)
Send templated emails (and track replies) re problems/delays, etc. (for example - still awaiting your photograph/copy)
Track time in queue and pending/incomplete actions
Each sale also generates a custom webpage – queue completed pages/links for uploads
When manual services completed, 2 email announcements (greeting cards) sent
Also need to trigger post-sale follow-up emails (to autoresponder) or tracking of add-ons
Possible post-sale purchases by same buyer

Inventory Status and Statistics – track availability – updated with each transaction
Assign ID to @10,000 items (each unique, only sold once)
Report status of each item, and total number in each category
• Available for sale
• Sold – In Process
• Sold – Competed
• Not for sale
• Custom sale
• Pending or problem

Total number sold (and $ value) – also for each of the add-ons
Statistics of each category to date – by date - total for week – total for month
Updated master-table/grid/map of sold (completed) items
Also for still-available items

Track Payments – daily, total to date - total for week – total for month
Also show refunds or cancellations – Net sales

Project is a stripped-down version of a Million Dollar script, where buyers do not manage their images or links. Script simply collects initial data and logs stages of sales process (with resulting inventory changes ad totals) in the data base.

Valentines Day is a day when a lover sends a lovenote (valentine) to their sweetheart. It occurs on February 14. This website is for sending loveletters, so most buyers will want what it sells just before and after that date.

The script must be completed and installed no later than January 18. That allows publicity to start when it is "newsworthy". And maximum sales can be done for the holiday.

The successful bidder MUST be able to meet that January 18 deadline. It is better to cut parts off the project/script (or let some of it be performed manually) than to miss the deadline. Bidding ends on January 10 so bidders who do not state that they can complete the job in 8 days (before January 19) will not be considered.

Any current bidder should modify their bid regarding their time for completion. That's VERY IMPORTANT!! Or they can state what parts of the bid cannot be performed in the stated timeframe - so the bid specification can be reduced.
