Description

This is a simple classified advertising system except items do not have a price, they are all free. Their status is either AVAILABLE, WITHDRAWN or TAKEN.

1. It is to use PHP and MySql

2. Admin and users are from an existing but separate MySql database. So registrations are carried out through that existing program.

3. Admin can create as many new categories as necessary.

4. Logged in users post Items in an existing category.

5. All Ads can be read by the public but only logged in users and admin can post or edit ads.

6. On the Item page the fields include: date posted, Title of Item, details of Item, contact email address, Area, Status, and date taken, and an optional jpg.

7. The user can upload an image which is then converted to a fixed size jpg, copied to the server and displayed on the Item page.

8. Each category shows a sortable list of available items with their STATUS displayed and either the POSTED DATE or the TAKEN DATE.

9. Each item comes offline automatically after a preset period determined globally by admin(ie 30 days)

10. The email address is coded to make it safe from spammers, by converting the email to a graphic.

8. All html pages must be based on html templates which can be used in Dreamweaver.
