Description

Since the upgrade to PHP and My SQL 5.x the property listings on this website are now longer being automatically ordered in descending order. The website still works if running on PHP / mySQL 4.x

When a new property is added it now appears at the bottom of the list, instead of at the top of the list (which needs to be the default way that the listings are ordered). In the administration part of the website the listings are still being ordered with the most recently added property at the top of the list.

It should just be a matter of looking at how the SQL is pulling out the properties in the correct order in the administration backend and applying this to the SQL for the front end of the website.

There is currently a redirect on the website which needs to be removed because currently if you are working on a local copy of the website and viewing it on your local host it will redirect to the live website.

This problem also needs to be fixed before debugging the SQL so that the live website is not affected.

The website was built 4 years ago by another developer.

Hi I'm a programmer based in London, UK. I'm new to the site but I have been coding for over 4 years. This is a simple job, as you said it's just looking at the SQL and the removal of the redirect is simple as well.
