Description

I'm trying to create a page (please see attached event_tickets.php) that will display a table filled from a database query, showing all tickets bought for an event from our site. I've managed to get a 'static' page working by hard coding the event id into the MySQL query (please see attached xmas_tickets.php).

However, rather than having to recode the page with the event_id for each event, I'd like to use a dropdown to select the event and for it to then populate the table with the selected event's data from the database.

I've managed to get the event names into the dropdown, but can't work out how to then get the event id into the table query to populate it for the selected event.

I therefore now need someone to correct or re-do my work (as I'm still learning PHP).

I'm hoping this should be an easy job for a seasoned php guru :)

My normal terms of 50% payment into escrow upon acceptance of the project, and final 50% upon completion.
