Description

Need a .php script written to run on our web server.

Page will prompt for the following:

File Name to process: [ ] (Browse for file on users local hard drive)

Vend: [ ]
Release: [ ]
Notes: [ ]

[PROCESS BUTTON]

Upon clicking the process button, the php script should locate the file selected, and determine the MD5 hash code for the file. Do not upload this file to the webserver, this is a file that exists on the users local computer.

Once determining the MD5 hash code of the file, write a file out to the same directory where the .php script is being ran from.

Name the file (md5 hash string/upper case).html

Include in the file the following text:

PROGRAM: (file name)
VENDOR: (vend data)
DATE: (todays date)
RELEASE/VERSION: (release data)
NOTES: (notes)

Final note:

The php file needs some sort of security so not anyone can do this. there is only a handful so I don't have a problem prompting for a [security code] or a [username] [password combination that is hard coded in the php script to prevent other people from running the script.
