Hello,

I am reposting my project due to unclear description and because of the fact I think I can make it easier for you. I want to add to what I have already. I run a NFL football pickem pool where people in my league come in weekly and pick the teams they think will win. Please reference my site to see what I am talking about.

In the MEMBER MENU you will see links to the software I am currently using. Please reference links that have the Admin in the link. This is where I can change settings.If you get promtped for username in here, it will be username Admin, password terry88 or terry888. If possible I would like to extend on this to create more pools integrated with this system. This software can be found at http://www.lvbash.com/phpfootball/ it is free for download and can be added to. I have already changed it to comply with joomla credentials and it works flawless.

Now what I am looking for. Using what I already have and mentioned, I want to add 3 "side" pools to this. These pools are, with these reqiurements:

Survivor Pool: Users pick 1 team per week, can not pick the same team more then once in a season. Users can change their pick all week long until the first game of week starts, then they can no longer make picks. When they go to the standings page, they will always see their pick showing, but not see the other people picks until the first game for the week starts.Once the first game of week starts, then everyones picks are visible. If team wins, then it shows green cell, if team loses, then its a black cell. If team loses, they cannot make picks anymore, if they do make a pick, it will not count or show in standings. Here is a sample of standings page, this is basic, and would want mine to look better.

Margin Pool: Users pick 1 team a week. They can use a team once per season, if they chose the same team a second time, it is a loss. If they make no pick for week, it is a loss. Here is how it works. A player picks a team. If the team wins, they are awarded the point differential for the game. If their team wins then they are + points, if their team loses then they are minus points. I.E. If you pick New England Patriots and they win by 10 points you are awarded 10 points. if they lose by 10 points and you chose them, then you are minus 10 points. there are between 13-16 games per week. If a player makes no pick or picks a team they have already used, they are awarded the worse minus of the week from the schedule of games for that week. Wins are denoted with green, losses are denoted with red. Please reference this page for an idea of what the standings will look like.

Final pool is High 5. People pick any 5 teams from week schedule. They get awarded points for each win they get. Please reference the standings page.

each week will show only the current weeks picks, along with a week by week total. These are against the point spread.

Finally, the PICKSHEET that I would like to use, will be similiar to this but of course look better and more compact then the one I have on the site. Check the link PICKSHEET - SIDEPOOLS. List of games, but can't make selection. Then the sidepools are picked from dropdown boxes.

If this can be combined into a joomla component, even better, but as long as the side pool feed off the current software I am already using I will be happy. Alot of the foundation has already been laid for this project, just need to add a few pages.
