Description

This is a project for 'ourwebteam' to add some functionality to a past project.
- Coupon functionality: I need a way in the admin to create coupon
codes and added to the front end so users can enter a coupon. The
coupon needs to allow for either a dollar discount or a % discount and
have a start and end date. The coupon needs to be able to apply separately for rentals and roommates or both. For instance, a coupon could be for 10% off rental listings and 0 off roommate listings. Or perhaps $5 off both roommate listings and rental listings. Or $8 off rentals and 10% off roommate listings. When the user enters the coupon, they should see a short description of what the coupon is.

- COUPON ADMIN: Admin section would allow the admin to create a
new coupon and define the "coupon code", Start Date, End Date, Drop
down for choosing either a $ discount or % discount, actual discount
amount and whether the discount applies to rentals, roommates or both.
So for example, I could create a coupon code "rent" 20% off that
starts today and ends 3/1/08 and have the coupon work for both
roommate listings and rentals.

- COUPON FRONT END FOR USER: The user would be able to enter a
coupon code during checkout and see the actual discount amount and net
order total. So if a listing was $20 and the coupon was for 20%
discount, they would see $20 - $4 (20% discount) = $16. Then they go
to the payment page. IF ORDER TOTAL IS $0, they would skip the payment
page and go to the thank you/upload photo page when they submit the order and the
listing would automatically appear. Basically, I need a way for people
to enter free listings without submitting their credit card information.

- Default Listings: If you go to the site now, you will notice that
there are no listings. I would like to have a generic listing appear
if there are no listings. This would look almost like an ad. For
instance the title can be "Feature Your Listing Here" and show a
generic room photo I can provide. This would always appear in the event there are no actual listings or featured listings.

- ADMIN EDITING: I need a way to edit listings as the admin. If a user
submits a listing, I have no way to modify their listing. I need to be
able to edit the end date, feature the listing, bold the listing, etc.
For example, if a customer submits a basic listing, I want to be able
to go in to admin and extend the time of the listing and make it a
featured listing if I want.

Finally, there is a small but I hope you can fix. When submitting a listing, if a user chooses to extend the date but then changes their mind, they are not able to disable the extended date. If the checkbox is checked on and a extended radio button is picked everything works. If the user "unchecks" the checkbox, it should undo the radio button as well and not require the user to check the checkbox.
