Project as discussed. Brief summary below:

I need a file uploader for (very) large files (maybe as large as 20-30MB). It only needs to handle one file at a time, but should not time out. Some sort of progress indicator would be good as well, though the accuracy does not have to be exact. I have minimal control over the server settings, though some changes can be made to the base configuration using .htaccess files or maybe by setting config variables (such as timeout) in PHP.

It can be implemented with javascript, php, flash, or anything else that might help it work well. I will need to be able to control the path where files are saved, and pass in a filename, but aside from that it can work however you see best. Maybe something similar to the image uploader at www.cafepress.com
