Description: The Sewing Forum - http://www.thesewingforum.co.uk - is an Unincorporated Association, a club, offering a UK focused discussion forum on sewing and related crafts. The aim is to provide an onine community of sewers for mutual help and support. It is free to use. Members are welcome from anywhere in the world.

The forum runs on a heavily modified version of phpbb, specifically the pre-modded Integramod product version 1.32. The key difference between this and standard phpbb is the use of subforums.

Some members have made donations to pay for the hosting and development of the forum. I am keen to use these funds to migrate the forum to a more efficient, resillient, and richer forum environment. I believe the vbulletin offers this.

I therefore need someone who understands modded phpbb and vbulletin well enough to migrate the registered users, all of the posts and the structure of forums/subforums (whatever the equivelent in vb is). There are also a small number of knowledge base articles that need to be migrated.

I am happy to use the default templates of vb for look and feel for now.

We have 358 registered and currently active users. Our users have posted a total of 6815 articles within 1119 topics.

I'll be happy to do the transfer for you. You can use vbulletin or SMF (www.simplemachines.org) which is a open source forums software that has the same features as vbulletin but is offered for free.
