I honestly would recommend that you look into a package called: phpmyedit here's a link to their site: http://www.phpmyedit.org/ you can view a demo on their site, or on mine: to run the demo on my site: http://www.siouxfallscomputer.com/phpMyEdit/phpMyEditSetup.php view a page a ready done: http://www.siouxfallscomputer.com/phpMyEdit/users.php the page is customizable via css, you can select which features you are after as well (default is to configure in the script, however I need to create a new front end for it that will generate the items I want on the fly and could have that done by the end of the weekend more than likely the end of today). to view the source of the users file view the users.php.txt file it will also support table joins but I'm not sure if I adding that into the front end I was planning on. honestly it has saved me HOURS!
