Description: Job Search Web Site

Our client has a job search site, which is near completion.

This site requires someone to apply the finishing touches, and make it ready for commercial launch in the first half of 2008.

The site uses PHP, some JavaScript, CSS layout and a MySQL back-end. It also has a simple custom CMS for page layout, etc.

The vast majority of the work has already been done. We now need someone to test/fix any bugs, ensure the layout is fully cross-browser compliant (particularly with earlier versions of IE), and perhaps make some minor tweaks to the design (although we are fairly happy with the current design).

This could be a quick job for a person or team skilled in PHP/MySQL, web site useability testing and cross-browser CSS, with some experience in e-commerce classifieds sites. It will lead to further work - including periodic site enhancements and development of a "sister" site.

Suitable short-listed candidates will be given a URL for the current test site, and will be given the opportunity to revise their bids once they have seen it.

Please note, due to the relatively small amount of work required, the budget for this piece of work is at the lower end of the $250-750 scale.

Our client would prefer to work with someone local (Australia / New Zealand), but is also happy to consider bids from other countries. Please note that strong English skills (natural/fluent) are required.
