Hello Coders,
I are updating our web site to use video player for all our video content which includes DRM protected videos.
My web site has free video content, video available to buy and rent and a shop for DVD sales.
I have a current bid request for the integration of a Video Player and this will provide an API for how it should be embedded on a page.
There will be 3 scenarios to implement:
1. Free-to-View Videos (Trailers) Free to view videos will in the main be trailers of DVDs in our shop and are free to access to all users.
You can use video module.
2. Register-to-View Videos These videos are free to our registered users.
When an anonymous users tries to view a register to view video they should be presented with a why register/login block and 3 thumbnails of the video
(these will be created by us during the encoding process). When the user is logged in the video will be shown with a pre-roll advert.

3. Pay-to-View Videos These videos are are only available to users how have paid for them. Users will be able to pay for them by three ways, a subscription, buy-to-rent or buy-to-own. All of these purchase methods will be manged through Ubercarts Shopping Cart. This content will be protected through Microsoft DRM, for users viewing on the page with the silverlight player an iframe will be used to issue the license using an API from our DRM provider. Windows users will also be able to download files to there computer to play on Windows Media Player or PlayReady Devices. There will need to be a method for issuing license for this process - preferably pre-delivery for buy-t-rent and buy-to-own and silent for subscribers (as long as they are logged in to the web site in IE). Again these are issued through a API from our DRM provider.
We would like to take a phased approach - implementing Part 1 & 2 in this project.
I hope you will also be able to complete Part 3 and make a payment through a bonus.
