Description

This is a simple site allowing people to share documents in particular classes of school.
File or Document Management Stand Alone Script/Site
Above all this site needs to extremely simple, friendly, and intuitive.
I want a hosted standalone very simple site that will do the following. You might find this type script on freeware or shareware.
I want the functionality of this file manager to do the following:
• There can be any number of moderators/owners who set up user groups, folders under user groups representing classes, and users. This site can be used by anybody at any school or anybody else who wants to share documents who belong to a user group.
• The owner or moderator of the user group on the website will have a user group which contains unlimited folders. These folders will contain all the documents submitted for different classes. For example, the following two classes would have their own folder created by the moderator: ‘PT 611 Anatomy’ would be 1 folder and ‘PT 623 Physiology’ would be another folder, etc. For these folders I want to have an owner/moderator. The moderator can delete documents from any folder in his user group and can delete any folder. And of course moderator can upload, view, and download any file.
• I want to have user group members who have permissions to upload documents, view documents, and download documents. Once these people become users, they are always users until they delete their name/email address from the user group. Anytime there is an upload, everybody in the user group gets an email saying a document has been uploaded to folder ‘ldfjsldkfjsdlj’, link to the website, username, and password to site. On the bottom of these emails is an opt out link of the user group and a link to username of the moderator/owner of the user group. This way we can share documents that each of us has organized or compiled that might be helpful to any user belonging to that user group.
• I want a counter next to every file which shows the number of downloads. When there have been no downloads for 7 days, the user that uploaded the document will get an email which gives the number of downloads of his/her uploaded document. Even if the user or owner chooses to be anonymous, I want this individual to get an email with the feedback of how many downloads their uploaded document gets.

1) Any moderator/owner makes a list of email addresses of all potential users for the user group. Then sends those emails out to all the potential user group members.
3) The users will receive a single link to be sent by the site which when clicked on allows them to be a member of the user group which has them be able to upload, view, and download documents for the folders which belong to that user group.
4) Moderators and users need to have a radio button which allows everyone to pick “anonymous” or puts their username next to the uploaded file on the site. Being anonymous still allows you all the functionality including the email or how many downloads that document received.
5) Will probably want everybody who joins this site to automatically be added to another website.
6) Want simple counter which shows in priority order who has the most uploads to each user group seen by the moderator/owner and the users.
7) folders and files are in time stamped descending order of addition.
8) Also want users and moderators to be able to search keywords of titles of folders, document names, and within documents themselves.
