Description:	This is a project for an import export business, they need a database and an admin page to manage their products information, is not really a big project for a knowledgeable php-mysql programmer should be easy, here are more details on this: we will need the following tables and fields for input (they need to be linked to each other too for a complete view)im sure you guys know this :) Table 1 - Products Product Name Product ID Vendor Name Cost of Goods Territory Rights Granted (exclusive and non-exclusive) Table 2 - Vendor Vendor Name Vendor ID Contact Details (address, tel, fax, email, web, etc.) Vendor Product List with Product ID (maybe not necessary) XM Works REP name or ID (same for all products with this vendor) Table 3 - Customers Customer Name ID Contact Details (address, tel, fax, email, web, etc.) Distributor Type (Retailer, Catalog, Internet, DRTV) Region (Asia, North America, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Middle East) Territory XM Works REP name or ID I am not sure how the structure needs to be set up but in order to be able to create the required reports from the 3 main tables, I assume we also have to have the following records for data entry; Marketing Status Input 1. Marketing Stage/Notes a. interested b. passed c. rights granted (exclusive or non-exclusive) d. distribution channel granted (Retail, DRTV, Print, Internet) The database needs to be able to perform the following reports and possible functions for us; 1. Sales Report (potential import from quickbooks) 2. Marketing Activity Report 3. Shipping Report 4. Product Status Report 5. Email Management 6. Email Reminder Alert 7. Overall Dashboard (sales, rights, activity graphics, etc.) i will be working very close to you on this project as i will be designing the graphic part of it, i also need some flexibility from you in case that during testing period something goes wrong or needs to be fix, ask me any questions if you need to, thank you all.
