Problems using function.simplexml-load-file]

I have subscribed a XML feed that unfortunately is sometime malformed, and therefore given errors:

Warning: simplexml_load_file() [function.simplexml-load-file]: http://www.DOMAIN.COM/XMLSourceDemo.asp?username=PASSWORD&k=J3292A0H&sport=soccer&link=england:824: parser error : Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding ! Bytes: 0xB4 0x4E 0x65 0x69 in /home/goalscor/public_html/index.php on line 89

Warning: simplexml_load_file() [function.simplexml-load-file]: <event type="yellowcard" minute="31" team="Local" player="G. O'Neil" result in /home/goalscor/public_html/index.php on line 89

Warning: simplexml_load_file() [function.simplexml-load-file]: ^ in /home/goalscor/public_html/index.php on line 89
Can't load file

This problems only happens when a special character come in the feed (in this example the problem is with character (') on the "G. O'Neil" ).
Please Check link : http://www.goalscore.com/index.php?soccer=england
The problem is that the feed provider will not fix the feed and I have to find an expert on XML feed to fix this. ASAP.

I suggest you to: First, download the file to your application folder, then scan this file looking for unexpected characters and change them to fullfill the XML standard, and then parse the XML file to extract the data. I can make a script for this task only for the price of $20 USD. Thanks
