This is not a commercial project, it is my own hobby project. I am creating a site for myself. I need help with passing a variable to flash with PHP. I can only pay you 5$ USD, cheap yes, but its easy for someone really good with ActionScript. (really, let me explain)

I have a flash music player which plays music from an xml file. Now the AS for that is simply;

playlist.load("admin/Music/XML/1.xml");

Now, I have it so every music shop has its own player, and a xml file according to there ID, so the first ID will have an xml file called 1.xml and the second will have 2.xml .

That is already figured out. What I need you to do is, make it so that when the view string is http://localhost/Learn/view.php?shopIDField=1

The query string shopIDField=1 so I want flash to load up the 1.xml like this;

playlist.load("admin/Music/XML/1.xml");

However, when the string is ?shopIDField=20 I want flash to be 20.xml like this;

playlist.load("admin/Music/XML/20.xml");

I have a variable in my PHP script;

$name = "admin/Music/XML/$thisshopID.xml" ;

which will give me the exact path to the xml file for that ID, but I need that variable ($name) to be passed to flash and be in place of the; playlist.load("admin/Music/XML/1.xml"); So in if PHP and AS were the same i would want this;

playlist.load($name);

I want it to load up that variable ($name) inside the load function and make it load the XML file according to the ID.

If your good with AS you could get the damn loadVars to work.

I choose you, I will give you the .fla file, and than view.php to get it work. However, it wont work of course because of the mySQL, and stuff, but still you will be able to add what you need.

Please I would like help now, and sooon, and I can only offer 5 USD over paypal (only thing I have in it.)

To make it better, and so it will work when you are working with it, I will send you the view.php and the flash files, and a folder called XML and I will have some XML files in there.

So instead of $name = "admin/Music/XML/$thisshopID.xml" ;

you can put the var to be;

$name = "admin/Music/XML/1.xml" ;

or just name have a number that is in the XML file, and when I change it to be 2 or 3554 it will use that XML file. And if that works, than it should work if the number is $thisshopID - right?

This should be like a 20 minutes job, please help me out!
