The modifications are straight forward. You will make changes to CSS and PHP files

1. Remove the "More Posts" area from all sections, eg on the single news page

2. a. Want to change the home page, and the single news page to look like this

With for main featured stories and a "Browse more featured" button under it.

b.Enable top menu to have drop-down feature (Drop down menu) and enable the three sections of the home page to be widget ready.

c.Change 468 x 60 ad space on Page header to Leader Board 728 x 90
(Adjust the Logo area if needed)

3. Switch the display for the photo area as shown in the image below. I mean the full size image will appear on top of the clickable thumbnails. like the image at the bottom (Put thumbnails below the main image, and display the image "title"/ "alt" attribute for each full size image)

4. Update the comment area to the threaded comment on the new Demo

5.for the Single news page, eliminate the left side bar (including "Latest and Categories), and expand the news area. Then move the Ad space and "Most Read stories " to the right side like below

6. Display the amount of times a post has been viewed. (Enable WP Post views plugin to work) Put it next to the date and time, but in grey color

7. A page footer that enables clickable buttons like this (clickable button that can link to other sites) http://gawker.com/
