we currently have a oscommerce website uing protx form.i have tested the protx direct 4.4 dated 4th auguest 2007. the contribution works as expected.please have a look at http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4026/category,all/search,protx+direct+4.4.
What i am looking for is to add a surcharge facility for credit cards only ( not debit cards , in uk it is legal to add surcharge to credit cards). I should be able to set this amount from the admin side of oscommerce. the surchage should be a percentage value of the total order excluding vat .
for example

sub-total (before vat) £92
delivrey is £8
total before vat is £100.

if the payment method is credit card then add 2% to this order.
total now becomes 102
total including vat = 102+17.5% = £119.85 (math be incorrect but hope u get the point).

my site uses pre-auth so if some one selects debit card but uses credit card , i can discard the order through protx admin without having to pay merchant handling chages.I am saying this just in case it matters)

My site is based on oscommerce ms2.it is heavily modified wih chemo seo and the latest order editor version 5 contrib plus host of other ,not sure if it matters but do let me know and i will make a list of the contribs. the prices are displayed with vat.

please only respond if u know oscommerce and php.Depending on the outcome of this i will also be looking for the same prson to integrate my suppliers data feed in to oscommerce.( will post detai$sl later ).

the sript that you will design must be well commented.i have a slight knowledge of php so can add the script to my site myself once i am happy and seen it working as requested.

this is the second time i am posting this project .. the last time i had a very bad experienece with the winning bidder.He got paid and his soluton didnt work.I emailed and messaged him and get no answer.It was partly my fault should have checked all aspect of the solution before i payed him.i learnt a good lesson.

My client site has been offline since he made the changes.as solution has caused more headaches for my client and his customers.so i am looking for somene to do this asap.

Only respond if you are available online day or evening uk time.i dont care where you are based in the world but dont lie if you are based in india and say that you in essex uk.

i need to know this so we can arrange the best time to talk to each other.Also if your solution is going to be based on a contrib which is available to download from oscommerce, please make sure you know what it does before you try to implement it for me.I need a relaible person , as i have alot of work that needs doing in the near future.

i have been using oscommerce for a while , so can add the changes my self to the main site.
