Description

I have an oscommerce website recently installed.
It was recently upgraded to osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC 2a.
i am not sure why - failed local project.
my wesite is: www.mall4less.net.
i think the upgrade messed up some things with picture upload, category page layout and with product bulk upload.

i need support and problems fixed.
i intend to upload all the products as soon as i can through multi csv tool.
all product pictures are already uploaded to the ftp, all categories are already configured by name.
i have theme pictures for category pages and subcategory pages, not linked yet or put in yet(but they are in ftp already).

changes implemented so far: more pictures option in poup window.

need to be done:
1. desktop manager
" a. to upload images - allows only one per picture, gives access only to mall4less.net/admin/images"
not to mall4less.net/images.
" b. when upload images through desktop manager, it doesn't show in ""product images"" list on online admin system."
" c. when uploaded image through desktop it shows only to the ""product info"" page, "
" but doe's not show in ""product listing"" page or in the popup window."
d. there is an export feature to create a list of items in excel form out of desktop manager
for a specific subcategory. i wonder if it is possible to import as well?
and if it is possible to export/import from/to several categories in one file.
e. is it at all possible to expand the capability of the desktop manager to similar functions as the online admin tool?

2. online admin tool
" A. how do you add images to the ""product images list"" other then uploading 1 by 1??, it doe's not give me an option."
" b. currently it seems impossible to assign 1 picture to the ""product info"" page, to show also on the ""product listing"" page and the popup window."
it only shows on 1 of the 3.
" c. and if there are multiple pictures assigned to the product, although they are not marked to be active, each page(info, listing, popup) will show a different picture."
d. how do you delete from that list of pictures?
" e. it seems as here unlike the desktop manager the image refference is to mall4less.net/images, but unless i upload an image through the admin"
it would not recognise it??!!
" f. i don't see a way to assign a picture by linking to a url, the only option offered is upload????"
" g. the pop up window opens at around 500x600 and shows the full picture, and the arrows for additional pictures(look in category - ""JOSE EBER CURLING IRONS"" for example), "
the customer must then move the popup window to see the arrows!!
" h. is there a way to have tumbnails of the additional pics, instead of arrows? I need a popup module that shows the picture in the middle of the page."
i. i want to show customer a shipping estimator in the cart before checkout!!
j. i could not seem to figure how to upload a csv file right.
" k. i prepared a csv file with excel by creating an excel and saving it as csv(IMPORT_OS.csv), i notice that this file is still readable as a table."
i do notice that the file that was succesfuly up loaded(test_01.csv) is a non editable csv file(tools - Excel/Calc Import).
" l. is there a way to convert an excel table to a csv so i can easily edit, but then make it readable by the system?"
m. while the template was changed a bit the product listing when subcategories exist(like category: software) shows a simple non apealing layout.

n. i would like to show a 300x500 theme picture at each category/subcategory page perhaps under the home page picture or instead.
o. i would like a list of manufactures on the left underneath the category list(like example: www.lafemmeproducts.net).
" p. why doesn't the ""best seller list"" on left bottom work - there is no product list just the title"

it is mostly repair and patching a partial oscommerce installation.
i am looking to spend around 150$.
"i also have a prostores.com website(separate project) I need to redesign, but that needs a specific template."
i also have a joomla/virtuemart website which i need help with csvi product uploading(seperate project) and seo.


please do not bid on this project if you are not experienced in oscommerce.
