I need an e-commerce website expert to upgrade one of my websites so that sellers can list what services they have available for sale, on what dates, and the price they will charge for each service. Buyers can shop for the service(s) they need and pay via credit card or PayPal. The user experience is patterned after www.StubHub.com, with the exception of FanZone and auction processes. Users can list or buy services by selecting the service and date from pull down menus, or by clicking on a calendar that shows products available on specific dates. Inventory will increase when a seller posts, and it will decrease when a service is sold or cancelled/withdrawn by the seller. Sellers and buyers can log into their accounts and view activity and payment history.
The current website is osCommerce-based. The upgrade, however, may involve continued use of osCommerce or conversion to another e-commerce and online store management software program. The objective is to end up with a sleek, but easy to use, PHP system utilizing a MySQL database with the following feature enhancements:
• Seller Listing System
• Customer Purchase System
• Sales & Inventory Matching
• Gift Voucher
• Administrative & Reporting System
To facilitate the upgrade and if needed, I can provide the artwork template used to create the current website (homepage and secondary pages). I also have prepared sample mock-ups for the feature enhancements.
To be considered, please provide links to e-commerce websites you’ve worked on in the past. This is an urgent requirement, so please respond only if you're available to immediately work on the project if you're selected. I will provide a detailed requirements, terms and conditions document only to those I deem qualified.
Knowledge of web-based text messaging is a major plus (i.e., when an item is sold, the website sends confirmation e-mails and text messages to the seller and buyer).
