Description

Our latest project is a website that will sell discount perfume and aftershave. We require someone who can start by designing a concept for the website, offer mock-ups or design ideas until we find something suitable. Then we will work to fine tune the idea and build the entire website with inbuilt shopping cart functionality. We require a very professional and glamorous finish and strongly prefer web 2.0 features (ajax, javascript, etc.) to make a more user friendly and rich experience for the customer.

Key features that need to be considered include the following but we are also looking for other suggestions from designers which might include new code or ideas that we hadn't thought of previously.

- importing csv file to update stock levels and prices

- automatic intelligent category structure based on pricing and/or product listings (eg. 50% off sale for products that are all at least 50% off at the time, package of certain designer products when there are numberous from that designed on special at the time, etc)

- ability to use custom database and/or rules to be created later on to suggest other possible products (not necessarily based on what other customers have purchase) .. example may be other perfumes that share the same basenotes or ingredients which will come from a database we are creating

- simple one or two click purchasing if required, but ideally leading customer to purchase multiple products for shipping or products discounts

- SEO links including product names, etc. to enable better search results and more traffic from search engines

The design can be done in custom code/script or any existing software package available. We have no specific requirements and hope that be being open with options will be end up with a better result from a designer who has some great ideas.
Sample csv file with products and prices can be provided, also some sample product photos can be provided if required.

We do hope to see a fresh, fun and interesting design which will work well with the name which is "Ooh La La!"
