I've found a plugin which may actually work for this, although it may have to be edited slightly, The URL is
http://www.gabrielserafini.com/archives/2009/02/12/how-to-automatically-add-a-default-set-of-custom-fields-to-each-post-in-wordpress/
We really just want to be able to do a post like normal, then have the option to click a button or something and fill out the fields in a form which will show the different materials used in a project at the bottom of the post. Once the plugin is set up, we don't want to have to use any code to add the box to the bottom of the post.
If I have understood this plugin correctly, the alterations to the above plugin would be:
- Have a border and background colour, so it's similar to the look of the box at the bottom of some posts at www.sarahklass.com (although if it would be a lot cheaper to create it without the background colour this is optional - please let me know if you're including this edit in your bid or not).
- Filling out this form would only be needed for some posts, so we'd just like to be able to click a button or something when adding a post, which would bring up the form to fill out, which would include this box at the bottom of a post, while not changing anything else so the main part of this post, aswell as the rest of the posts on the site can just be added like normal.
- We don't want a picture at the side, like on this plugin, but instead, we'd like a couple of butterflies in the background, or if you can't do the coloured box as mentioned above, we'd like a heading like the "supplies" heading on the bottom of some of the posts on http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/ automatically added above the info. I will supply this image.
I'm not sure if this plugin can be used, and if it makes it any easier for this to be set up rather than creating one from scratch, but I thought I'd mention it in case it helps bring the time down to create it, and in turn, the price (as this is a big factor in choosing the winning bid).
I'll confirm the fields needed and let you know, but they will probably be "Project Title" (no subheading needed - just the name in bold), "Stamps:", "Paper:", "Ink:", "Accessories:".
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask me.
As mentioned, price will play a big factor in choosing the winning bid.
