Description

Hello

I have a custom wordpress theme that needs 2 small modifications making asap.

1. The theme has a menu in the left sidebar which displays the child pages of the parent page selected from the main horizontal menu. Since upgrading to the latest version of wordpress last week, this displayed an error message (Fatal error: Call to undefined function....) so I have had to remove this menu in order to keep the site running. The first job is therefore to fix this problem.

2. The theme is used as a cms rather than an actual blog, but uses a mixture of pages and posts (all displayed 1 page/post to a page). I would like to add a news section so I can add news stories to the site each day. An exert of these stories should be displayed on a News page with a thumbnail photo next to each story.

Both tasks should be fairly simple so am hoping this job can be done within the next couple of days.
