Description

This job entails designing a website with HTML, CSS and PHP so the winning bidder needs to be competent in this. If you know what you are doing I don’t think this will take you long but I expect this to be finished between 7-10 days from being awarded then tested by me throughout the design. I will be available when you need me and would expect the site to be loaded on your server so that I can comment and make quick changes when and if required.

CSS styles sheets must be completed by the developer and be compliant with “World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards”. As shown in the BMP file and verified as correct.

Most of the code will be supplied by me and it is just for the developer to create the correct template to run through the web site then integrate the code and everything else. I have taken my design from 2/3 websites so most of the code is there and available by me which I have. As the business suggests there will be plenty of further work for the successful bidder. For my future business I want 2 designers for the websites and the same for the logo business. Do a good job then you will be one of these designers.

The price that I will pay for this site will be $250-300 which is fixed and not negotiable. You will get more work soon after I launch this new business.

All the images for the logo samples will be supplied by me in Ai/EPS/GIF/JPEG format and it is up to you to integrate as you see fit. If you have any suggestions to improve on what I have shown then please let me know to discuss.

For the portfolio and testimonial pages I need to be able to simply integrate further pages as my business progresses. I have some knowledge of HTML. The viewing page on the portfolio needs to show a snapshot of the website. You need to be able to give me the process to do this through preferably Adobe Illustrator/ Fireworks/etc.

I have done most of the site in BMP format so you can see what the overall result should look like. This will be supplied to you and also attached to this bid are some sample pages that I have done. I will supply all of the other BMP files when I have chosen the winning bidder.

As previously discussed, I have taken my design from 2/3 websites which I will give to you. I have most of the code from PHP, drop down menus, Google map, etc. For the domain search and newsletter I have other programmes that I can supply to you to complete the site if you do not have this available.

There are a couple of areas where I would like your suggestions but this can be discussed when I am about to award the bid.

There are some submission pages on the site. I have designed the pages in HTML so you just have to incorporate them into the overall site then direct this form to my email address.

A few other items: - The site must show plenty of images and the winning bid will need to integrate the quick links section somewhere into the site that is best suited. This can be seen in the BMP files. Also, the black bar on the right should show a few images with a border round in the company colours

Key Success Factors and prior experience required:
-Website must be simple, clean, uncluttered.
-Design must incorporate best practices for scalability and keyword optimization. META data will be supplied.
-Compliant with W3C, etc
-Overall look must be polished.
-Attention to detail is a must.
-The site should require little or no maintenance.
-There should be procedure given to me to add extra pages for the all portfolio and testimonial sections. I have some HTML knowledge.
