Description:	Hello, and thankyou for your interest in this project. This project has been previously posted, but we cancelled it after realising we had not given enough detail as to what we wanted done. This project is much more detailed, so please read through our requests and place a bid. ----------------------------------------------------- “More Than Just Ideas” Complete Website Plan ----------------------------------------------------- Overview Users post ideas under respective categories and get them rated and commented by other users. User’s “My Account” Feature Registered users have a “My account” area, where they can choose to be informed of comments they have received on their ideas since last login. Users can also add information to their profile page, viewable by other registered users. Profile pages can contain personal information, such as name, age, birthday and location, as well as information on the user’s ideas, such as their top rated idea, how many ideas they have posted and what category they are most active in. Users also have their own user rating, which is an average rating of all the ideas they have posted. Users can also upload a 100 x 100 pixel picture, which will be displayed whenever the user posts or comments an idea. The picture will also be shown on the user’s profile page. Posting Ideas Users post ideas under the category that best suits it. “Smileys” and text editors are not used when posting. Offensive language is not acceptable. Commenting System Comments are placed by registered users on an idea. These can be supportive of the idea, criticising, or improving upon the idea. Comments can be reported to administrators due to offensive language, spamming, unfriendliness or irresponsible behaviour. The poster of an idea can reply to its comments. A poster’s reply is distinctly different from regular comments, in that the background of the reply is a different colour. Users can also reply to another user’s comments, but these replies are not differentiated like replies made by the poster of the idea. Replies to comments are all tabbed forward and in italics. Rating System Ideas can be only be rated by registered users. A poster of an idea cannot rate his or her own idea. Ratings are out of 10, and the total rating averages all ratings for the idea. Average ratings are rounded to two decimal places. Administrator Privileges Administrators have the power to add categories or change their names. Administrators can also delete any ideas or comments that are vulgar, offensive or discriminative. When comments are reported for offensive language, spamming, unfriendliness or irresponsible behaviour, administrators are notified and are expected to deal with the situation, usually by deleting the comment. Searching A search feature is available on the website. Search results are sorted by either rating (lowest to highest, highest to lowest), views (lowest to highest, highest to lowest), most recently added, or most relevant, which is the default sorting method. The way the results are sorted can be changed by selecting one of the selections mentioned. Searches can be performed in all ideas, or specific to a category. Search Engine Optimisation SEO for the website are not essential, but would be appreciated. Graphics A layout for the site would be needed, as well as buttons. This would be discussed after interest is expressed. ----------------------------------------------------- We apologise for our low budget for such a large project, but it is all we can afford.
