Description: My host provides Joomla 1.0, so I decided to upload Joomla 1.5 and ran the installer... everything seemed to go fine, but now I'm getting a database error when I try to load the site.

I don't care if you troubleshoot this install or delete it all and install from scratch -- whatever is best for you works for me, so long as I end up with a clean install of Joomla 1.5.

I also have a YooTheme template with a couple of components that need installation -- Since you're already in there, I figure you may as well do this too.
