Description

OVERVIEW
========
I am a sole owner of a trading firm based in India and I'm in the process of launching a shopping site through which buyers can browse the various products and shop online.

I have already purchased and setup a turnkey shopping site from shop-script.com

The site URL is http://www.thegadgetmall.co.in which is currently up and running with default configuration.

The site has all the required features and functionality and a satisfactory Administrative Control Panel. However, the look and feel of the site is not up to the mark.

There are about 10 templates that have been provided default with the package, but none of the templates are impressive. Also there are some additional modules that I need on the backend administration control panel.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. The look of the site needs to be changed with more vibrant colors and banners, with more professional fonts and images.

There should not be any changes in the existing site features or functionality.

I would like to have atleast 10 different template choices that I should be able to switch between. This is to give a new look and feel to visitors over a period of time.

2. There should be sections/frames to insert promo ad banners on the home page. I should be able to manage the ads using a module in the backend through the GUI, without having to do coding work. Example there can be option to manage ad content in different parts of the web page eg: Main banner, on the top of the web page, a Ad section on the left site of the web page below the product category etc.

3. Currently there is a news module using which I can add news content that show up on the right hand side of the web page. I would like to have additional option where the different news topics that I add should appear as scrolling text within the section/frame on the right side. Also, the input section should have an inbuilt editor that has a formating toolbar to change fonts, size, color etc.

4. While adding a new product under a category, the product description section accepts only HTML and this make things difficult to add content with formating. Hence, the input section should have an inbuilt editor that has a formating toolbar to change fonts, size, color etc.

5. The Poll option should have an option to disable and enable the poll.

6. The My Account page should have a better look and feel and have option to change password as well.

7. The list of States in the list to be made available. The respective states should change in the drop down after selecting the country.

You should be able to accomodate some additional changes as we proceed through the project. Dont worry, these might be very small changes to color, fonts, adding additional information to the webpage and will not involve too much of labor.
