Description:	We need a bilingual (en/de) service site which will feature previews of services, and allows customer registration as user. Users can upload their pictures after registration and order a set of services that should be performed on their pictures. Delivery of the improved picture is also online within the member area of the customer – also the delivery area. Communication between service provider and customer is within the service area, but e-mail notification are to be sent to both service provider and customer whenever a new communication or service request is initiated. We think this service can be realized within the scope of a Drupal or Mambo/Joomla setup with a customized e-commerce module. Specific (not relative) CSS/html design that we will deliver as PSD file will be an important part of the project. We will deliver a specific design and storyboard within the framework given in the attached pdf document. Additional information submitted: 03/23/2007 at 0:28 EDT: I want to make it clear that the picture editing is not going to happen within the scope of the retouching page: but the designer will download the picture and process it manually on his PC. The only aspect of picture processing might be the implementation of an object like image magick in order to scale down the uploaded pictures down to a size that can be handled within the website (thumbnail and detailed preview within 50 kb) while keeping the uploaded original untouched for "manual" processing and re upload by the designer. 03/24/2007 at 7:29 EDT: There have been questions about the hosting plan: It will be a dedicated server, storage will not be an issue. We will need no strict limits there. Also there will be no strict limit about the format. Something very common like tif or jpg should be processed during the upload for preview, but funny formats like psd should be uploadable also, but may fail to show in the preview. So they could be replaced by a standard symbol. The programmer should provide for a generous timeout liek 5 min because the files could be quite large. Also the detailed picture preview can be according to the final design something like 500 pixel in width, 100-150 kb. If required we would rather increase our hosting plan. We will think about limiting storage for customers who do not order after a period of time, that would be something like a reminder e-mail that could have an activation link - if not activated the pictures in the account will be deleted. That could also happen manually by the admin by an sql query (reactivation older than "date" if the server really is to small. But these things are part of our planning. We just posted the scope of the project and take your quotes as estimates. Before we will award the project we will come with the negotiable details in a more specific document. The design is also coming, a basic version that is to be realized as CSS/html is attached here. But we will elaborate this to a complete design guide with color palette, typography, detailed spaces and the gifs you will need to realize that as CSS/html. Thank you very much for the nice input.
