Description:	Programmer required to assist in the creation of a simple ticket purchasing system for a prize draw. I would like the system developed in small stages, an iterative process, to ensure the site meets requirements. The system should be developed using PHP and MySQL. From the users point of view: -membership accounts to store personal details (address etc.) -ability to view past/present tickets -ability to change personal details From the administrators point of view: -view user membership accounts -list past / present games -enter winning results -enter prize amounts Secure login would be required into appropriate areas (membership, ticketing). A ticket is simply a set of numbers purchased for a specific draw on a given date. I have no objection to (perhaps would prefer) the system being built upon an existing publishing system (wordpress, joomla) as I believe the functionality could quite easily fit into a plugin and the systems inbuilt user administration could be used. No web design is required, just the minimal html to demonstrate functionality - design may become a future project. Purchasing/Transactions will be handled initially by GoogleCheckout or equivalent. Additional information submitted: 05/24/2007 at 8:08 EDT: Addition: Think of the site as a place where users come to buy tickets for a lottery or raffle prize draw. The user may buy 1 ticket, or might buy 10. The will want to check the tickets they have bought and then make a payment. They will want this to happen securely. User will want confirmation emails when appropriate. The administrator will want to see what tickets have been bought. He'll want to update the system with the winning numbers and then check to see who has matched the numbers and therefor who he needs to pay (he will pay them by logging into google checkout or the equivalent system). The site does not have to implement the actual lottery/raffle system. The administrator will perform the draw and input the winning numbers manually. That should give a rough idea. Full specs can be worked out in due course.
